Visbion offers the IPACS solution either as a local hardware solution or as a fully hosted service.
Image Archive
Image Archive is Visbion's local hardware solution. Image Archive utilises industry standard technologies and standard hardware for on-site image storage. Image Archive is underpinned by powerful PACS servers that combine a central ODBC compliant database with HL7 and XML integration tools, workflow capability, encryption and JPEG2000 compression for transferring DICOM images in a lossless format. Image Archive includes a complete DICOM library that encompasses all 18 parts of the DICOM standard, thereby enabling an interface with any legacy imaging device.
Image Archive offers the following benefits for a radiology department:
¨ The hardware and perpetual IPACS software licence is purchased as a single start-up fee, which includes 12 months of support
¨ There is no internet access dependancy required, the solution can be used across an internal network
Depending upon your organisational needs, IPACS is available as either Image Archive - Entry Level, Image Archive - Mid Range or Image Archive - Enterprise.
Image World
Image World is Visbion's fully hosted solution. Image World transmits encrypted DICOM images across the internet to a hosted hosted data centre. Image World stores your data in two redundant data centres with full online backup. Image World includes a central ODBC compliant database with HL7 and XML integration tools, workflow capability, encryption and JPEG2000 compression for transferring DICOM images in a lossless format. Image World includes a complete DICOM library that encompasses all 18 parts of the DICOM standard, thereby enabling an interface with any legacy imaging device.Image World offers the following benefits for a radiology department:

Image Viewer
Image Viewer is installed on the diagnostic workstation within either the Image Archive or Image World solutions.
¨ Diagnostic quality images can be viewed, manipulated and annotated from any appropriately specified diagnostic workstation
¨ Presentation of work lists, through clinical workflow, maximises the efficiency and accuracy of reporting
¨ Simultaneous viewing of patient studies
¨ Comprehensive toolset for image manipulation, including window levelling, image orientation and magnifying
¨ Complete range of functionality is available to facilitate diagnostic viewing, including support for 3-D, Fusion and Orthopaedic templating
¨ Transcription and voice recognition elements are available to facilitate flexible and efficient reporting
Image Importer
Image Importer enables the conversion of analogue and digital video images captured from any modality to DICOM format. Multiple device and multiple image formats can be set to communicate with one single workstation.
