OPACS Solutions
Visbion offers the OPACS solution either as a local hardware solution or as a fully hosted service.
Image Archive
Image Archive is Visbion's local hardware solution. Image Archive utilises industry standard technologies and standard hardware for on-site image storage. Image Archive is underpinned by powerful PACS servers that combine a central ODBC compliant database with HL7 and XML integration tools, workflow capability, encryption and JPEG2000 compression for transferring DICOM images in a lossless format. Image Archive includes a complete DICOM library that encompasses all 18 parts of the DICOM standard, thereby enabling an interface with any legacy imaging device.
Image Archive offers the following benefits for a chiropractic practice:
¨ The hardware and perpetual OPACS software licence is purchased as a single start-up fee, which includes 12 months of support
¨ There is no internet access dependancy required, the solution can be used across an internal network
Depending upon your organisational needs, OPACS is available as either Image Archive - Entry Level, Image Archive - Mid Range or Image Archive - Enterprise.
Image World
Image World is Visbion's fully hosted solution. Image World transmits encrypted DICOM images across the internet to a hosted hosted data centre. Image World stores your data in two redundant data centres with full online backup. Image World includes a central ODBC compliant database with HL7 and XML integration tools, workflow capability, encryption and JPEG2000 compression for transferring DICOM images in a lossless format. Image World includes a complete DICOM library that encompasses all 18 parts of the DICOM standard, thereby enabling an interface with any legacy imaging device.
Image World offers the following benefits for a ophthamology clinic:
¨ Offsite backup included
¨ OPACS software updates and upgrades are included as part of Image World
¨ Easily upgradeable to include additional modalities, users or storage
¨ A one-off start-up fee, and a monthly subscription for the hosted services, which includes support
Depending upon your clinic's needs, OPACS is available as either Image World - Entry Level, Image World - Mid Range or Image World - Enterprise.
Image Capture
Image Capture provides the interface and control for common imaging devices such as fundus cameras, photo slit lamps or video sources enabling the capture of images before sending them as DICOM 3.0 files to the Visbion Image Archive. In addition, Image Capture can be used to query and retrieve images and manipulate them with all of the necessary tools for reporting. Full stereo viewing support is included either with a simple stereo viewer or shutter glasses. The interface is highly flexible and customisable on an individual user basis. Existing image files can be imported and exporting in jpeg, tiff or bmp is available. If required patients studies can be exported to a CD as a DICOM directory together with an included viewing application should remote access be impractical. Image Capture supports DICOM 3.0 Modality Worklist so that it can be linked to a patient administration system to minimise operator input and errors.
Image Importer
Image Importer enables the conversion of analogue and digital video images captured from any modality to DICOM format. Multiple device and multiple image formats can be set to communicate with one single workstation.
