Visbion PACS for Ophthalmology – OPACS
Visbion OPACS delivers a new and innovative solution to capture and store ophthalmic images and data with advanced review and reporting tools. OPACS provides a central archive for data and images, with access via a standard web browser and secure login from any computer in your practice or offsite 24 hours a day. Further functionality can be included in the web viewer capability to provide diagnostic images with important image manipulation tools. OPACS acquires and manages images from multiple vendors simultaneously and displays them whereever they are required. The system complies with the latest Ophthalmic Photography (OP) standard and allows diagnostic quality DICOM 3.0 images to be displayed side by side, enabling quick image comparison.
The key benefits of OPACS are:
¨ DICOM compliant images – OPACS images are stored as DICOM images, the anticipated standard for Ophthalmic images in the future
¨ Immediate access to all images and records – OPACS gives you immediate access to a patient’s historic and current images and records, when and were you need it, enabling quick side-by-side image comparison and improving patient turn-around times
¨ Secure unparalleled access – registered users can securely log in from any PC with a standard web browser, within a practice and offsite
¨ Intergration – OPACS has many important image manipulation tools integrated into the diagnostic viewing software. Full EPR integration is also available to give a complete solution
¨ Reduced costs – competitively priced and can be utilized on existing PCs with adequate processors and screens. OPACS eliminates expenditure on film and CDs, plus the cost of storing such images. OPACS also reduces a technician’s time in the management and retrieval of images
¨ Scalable OPACS solutions – tailored solutions for small clinics and departments with a single imaging device through to multi-site and multiple device practices, enabling OPACS to grow with your practice
