Image World

Image World is Visbion’s online hosted version of its successful integrated PACS solution. The system is designed to be scalable from a small practice or clinic up to large enterprise level installations. Image World provides secure storage for all types of image in one place, including radiology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and many more. The system allows review of high quality images using a standard web browser, from anywhere with the appropriate network and security mechanisms in place.

The web viewing software incorporates all the tools expected from a high end workstation; features include a full range of image review tools, side-by-
side image comparison, extensive measurement tools and burning of CDs or DVDs.

The data on the Visbion Image World system is stored in dual redundant data centres for security and high availability, and the system is fully compliant with Dicom 3.0 and HL7 data standards for straightforward integration into an existing infrastructure. In addition, Image World can make use of a wide range of other Visbion solution components, such as the Image Cube for encrypted and compressed data transmission, Image Viewer for advanced or specialist workflow, and Image Print for non-Dicom device integration.
