Image Cube

The Visbion Image Cube is an intelligent and cost-effective Dicom 3.0 routing, translation, compression and encryption appliance.

The Image Cube receives images from any standard modality in Dicom 3.0 format. It then caches the image, prior to compressing it in a lossless fashion, and transmitting it in secure encrypted format to its destination. In addition, the Image Cube can receive and forward Dicom Modality Worklist queries to enable the complete end-to-end workflow to be implemented.

The Visbion Image Cube is ideally suited to any scenario where images or work lists need to be transferred from one location or system to another. The Image Cube can be used to connect a branch practice with a modality to an archive at a main site, automate and encrypt a point-to-point link from one hospital to another, or allow a mobile scanning truck to pull up to multiple hospitals with a variety of PACS systems.
