Visbion’s technology is being employed by The Grange Medical Centre to store, transfer and display X-ray images taken in the imaging suite at the GP practice in Hemsworth, West Yorkshire.

Visbion’s solution enables double reporting of the images within 24hours, by the radiographer on-site and by a radiologist who can access the images using Visbion’s web based Tele-radiology portal.

James Harcus, Advanced Practitioner and Head of Department at Grange Medical said “We operate a self-contained unit here and Visbion’s technology has helped make that possible as we can view and report our x-rays from anywhere before archiving them securely on-site.”

The introduction of PACS has further expanded the services offered, outreach orthopaedic clinics are now located at the practice and orthopaedic consultants can view their x-rays in the consultation rooms immediately after acquisition.
