Visbion is a medical imaging software company, specialising in medical image acquisition, management and display solutions. Visbion’s solutions are based on technology originally developed out of Imperial College, London, after a decade of research by internationally renowned scientists in medical informatics.  In addition to developing the Visbion product set, our scientists have contributed significantly to the industry standards bodies such as the ACR-NEMA DICOM committees.

Visbion operates globally, providing individual PACS solutions and tools to the Radiology, Ophthalmology and Veterinary markets. In addition, the company has an extensive OEM programme and the technology is embedded as the image management system within a number of leading electronic medical record systems provided by other vendors around the world.

Visbion PACS acquires images (including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT and MRI scans) from vendors imaging devices using the DICOM 3.0 standard, bringing all images together into one medical image management system. 

Visbion stores your images in a central archive, eliminating the need for removable media (such as CDs and DVDs), and enables you to access your images from any computer around your practice, or remotely in a secure environment. The Visbion software provides diagnostic tools such as MPR, MIP, fusion and orthopaedic templating as standard.
